Heating grants cover the full cost of installing energy-saving measures — with no repayment required. These grants are funded by large UK energy suppliers as part of their legal obligation to help reduce carbon emissions under the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme.

You may be eligible if:

  • You own or privately rent your home

  • You receive certain government benefits

  • Your home has a low EPC rating (D or below)

Yes. ECO4 is part of the UK Government’s initiative to improve energy efficiency and reduce fuel poverty. It is managed in partnership with Ofgem and major UK energy suppliers, who fund the work under their legal obligations.

Yes! Pensioners may qualify for free boiler or heating upgrades if:

  • They are over 60 and receive Pension Credit or Working Tax Credit

  • They own or privately rent their home

We strongly encourage pensioners to check eligibility — support is available.
